More work

It's been a longish time, big little update on the work in progress.

First up is the "return of the special agent". 3 framed piece to work with the hear, see, speak theme.



then we got the piece for the article on reality tv, or emo tv for short..



this one is not finished yet , but this is the rough outline for it. Now the fun part starts. After that I have to do 2 little illustrations to accompany it.

I also finished a poster for the bookweek assigment, with the theme: the praise of the foolishness. I'm quite happy with that one will post asap.

The return of the secret agent part 2

Update on the return of the secret agent ilustration. The first idea went out of the window. After more sketching and thinking of new ways to show what spying is I came up with a concept that lends itself for this 3 framed background.



I'm really happy with it so far, there will be a lot of tweaking in the end. The details are not up to my standard yet. Next big thing is getting the poses right for the last layers. After that it should be pretty much done for now.

I also need to get shots for my Emo tv piece, so'll do that in the same shoot.

Emotion TV, a sneak preview

OK here's the background work for my new illustration to go with the article on emotion tv. It's kinda vintage, warm, moody, so I'll probably crank up the foreground image in colour a bit to make a contrast with the back.

Return of the secret agent

First visual update. Started working on a raw sketch for the "return of the secret agent" assignment. Not much to see yet but I'm going to try to finish it today.

First post

Hello, well this is my first post. Don't have really much to show you I'm just getting started and most of the stuff is in my analog sketchbook for now. Haven't really really started yet, I need to pick my assignments, think about a thesis subject and lots more.

Will try to get some stuff up for the world to see and comment on. I do this mainly to have a record of things I've done between now and January 2007 when I hope to graduate, but I thought why not share it with the world.
